Summer Fun Swimwear Australia is a division of The Bra Shop Marketing & Fundraising Group of Melbourne.

The Bra Shop retail stores were established in 1975…The business became a household name through the 80’s with stores in most major shopping centres. In 1991 most of the retail stores were sold to Bra’s and Things. Childrens Swimwear

During the 90’s the founders of the original business developed new exciting concepts.

Like most things in life and business one venture led to other opportunities.

The Bra Shop had sold swimwear in the traditional way through their retail stores for many years. Years of experience in the industry suggested that there were alternate methods of retailing swimwear. The directors of the business developed a fantastic range of children’s swimwear that was fashionable, trendy, co ordinated, reasonably priced and rated UPF 50 + for maximum sun protection.

Once the range was created the question was asked…where do we sell this product? The answer was obvious….our market was waiting for us in kindergartens, primary schools, pre schools and child care centres. In 1996 we piloted the programme with a number of these groups. The programme was wonderfully received. Over the next 11 years the programme was developed substantially …the range now incorporates ladies and men’s styles.

Today we work with all types of organisations not just educational institutions. The list of organisations that have participated in the programme is vast. Sporting Clubs, Play Groups, Toy Libraries, Dance Groups, Girl Guides, Hospital Auxiliary Groups, Surf Life Saving Clubs, Social Clubs, Church Groups and Registered Charities.

Groups from all over Australia now participate…. We work with groups in every state of Australia…
